Another Turkey Trot!

We just couldn't help ourselves... We had to go back and do it again. Istanbul is an awesome town and so much to see and do (and buy!). It was the Kazakh new years holiday (Naurez) and we had a three day weekend. So we decided to get out of Dodge and explore some different parts of this great place.

20 Things That Have Meant A Lot To Me Throughout The Years (from Leslie to Bob)

~Your tears across the alter on our Wedding Day

~When you would come home from work to make me lunch when I was sick in bed with the pregnancey and lung complications

~When you took me on a romantic cruise to Tahiti

~When you took me to Italy for our 20th anniversary

~When you would call me from work and invite me to meet you for lunch at the Marketplace.

~When you are with the scouts and you think to call me from the top of "your mountain"

~When for Christmas, you signed us up for dance lessons

~When you run and leap onto the bed to hug me on Saturday mornings

~When you randomly take me in your arms to dance ( with or with out music )

~When you signed me up to swim with the dolphins

~When we're in bed in the morning and you look at me and tell me that I look just as pretty or prettier without makeup

~When you gave up a week's vacation to do the "make over" on Mary's bedroom

~Whenever you tell me that you're glad that I quilt; restoring a lost legacy

~Whenever you took our girls hiking and camping, giving them so many happy memories

~That you love Handell's Messiah as much as I do

This is a little something Leslie and I did for each other last week. I wrote some things that I love about Leslie and she did the same for me. After I finished I thought it was good enough to share with my family and friends. I love her! Don't you?

Shared testimony and commitment to the Gospel.
willingness to go anywhere with me… started with you going to Utah, then Bakersfield, Denver, Kuwait, Kazakhstan and all the travels together
you always making birthdays and holidays special (Yummy cherry pie)
sharing of common likes in music, movies, shows
acceptance and love of people, social graces
clean house. I really appreciate and enjoy having the kitchen, bathroom always clean and the house presentable to guests
teaching skills. Especially for the little ones but also for adults.
Sensitivity to spiritual things (whisperings of the Spirit) and ability to organize thoughts

Today we began our own Blogspot. !!!! Whooopppppeeee!

We always have a bunch of photos to share and no way to get them to you all neatly packaged. So now we will put them up here and invite you to come and see them any time you want. Which I am sure will be a lot!! :)

We like to travel as you know, so we will put some of our stories up here (maybe, we'll see).
